Because I went to a concert (part of a three-day festival) by myself (lame, I know), and I heard a band I really liked, I told him to come join me. Everything was pretty cool till the last stage was on. It was a really retarded stage, where all the guards were trying to get you to sit down on the seats they’ve provided. Honestly, not shitting you. They got so pissed yesterday when I, and any other people, stood up.

Anyway.

The next two bands were some of my favourite ones I’ve heard there (yes, they play multiple times on different stages). One is a awesome dubstep band, the other is more on the classic rock side, all from the UK. But anyways, dubstep was on first, and really, who can sit on a chair while listening to dubstep? I had enough, jumped up and got some dirty looks, got my friend up, and we fucking did our shit. By the end of their act, we managed to get the whole crowd standing (we had to run around raising our hands in the air and telling them to stand). Same with the classic rock band, except there was more head banging than jumping around in this one. Sooooo many people took pictures of us and the crowd we created, and fuck man. By the end, we wanted to sneak backstage, so we decided to go out as soon as they came off the stage.

But of course it wasn’t easy.

We were literally surrounded once it ended. A large portion of the crowd wanted to take pictures with us, especially the front-rowers that we interacted with. I swear, we were asked once every… less than a minute? But at some point, we made it out and around near the backstage area. Lucky for us, the security guards weren’t there, so we ran in and saw some guys from the two bands. Then we chilled, got praised a bit for being an awesome crowd, he managed to get a cigarette off them and me some water (no beer, the first band had gone through a lot and the other band still hadn’t touched it, so they’d probably be pissed if there was none left) we hugged/shook hands with them outside and then a shit load of security guys started walking towards us and the band guys told us to go into their little band room. And left after a few minutes.

Didn’t have my camera for this show, got some autographs but couldn’t be bothered unless they came close-ish, but dudes. It. Was. Awesome. UK bands know their shit.

All of this on a Monday, when Tuesday holds an English final exam for him, and a math portfolio that I haven’t started for me. Screwed, but worth it.

My neck hurts now, and I should sleep and work my ass off like a mother fucker tomorrow.

Meeting people from bands or artists is a cool thing. I’m here just to tell you guys about two of my friends, and them meeting two people they respect. I’ll keep it short. Real short.

Pavle. He met the guitarist from Avenged Sevenfold, Synyster Gates, while pissing. Legit. He was just pissing in the boy’s bathroom and here comes Gates asking if it’s alright to piss there too. Let’s just say Pavle gaped a bit. This took place in Singapore, I believe.

Caspar. He met Dizzee Rascal when he went to England for spring break. Needed to take a piss, and oh hello there, a wild grime artist appeared. “Are you…?” “Yeah.” And the kid is still freaking out about it, haha.

Anyone have a cool story about meeting a band/artist/band member in a cool and ‘different’ way?

Strict, paranoid parents. Was supposed to be home at midnight. Got extended to one. Arrived home at two. Last time I was fifteen minutes late, my dad shot me, mentally. I’m not sure if he’s awake now or not but… I’m not going to go check on him.

And this cute older Swiss guy danced. It was so awkward because I wasn’t drunk, but it was cool. Considering I was with gorgeous (prettier than me, at least, but I’m down with that) girls, and he still chose to speak to me and all. But then because my friends couldn’t get into the club, I had to leave him. He thinks I’m studying in China for a Psychology degree or some bullshit I made up on the spot. I’m so bad at Psych right now.

Caspar’s brother is insaneeeeeee. Met two guys, one from Cali and another from Luxembourg (did I spell that right?). Theo (Caspar’s brother) burnt his hand with a newly lit cigarette butt ten times, just to prove to some Dalton that if Dalton wasn’t gonna burn Theo, he’d do it himself. And he did. And now he’s probably still licking the palm of his hand.

Lux-boy is such a cute ginger. We started speaking French at the very end, his fail French is really cute. The “aw, he’s saying that so wrong it’s adorable” sort. He doesn’t butcher it, his pronunciation is pretty good and -

Holy fuck my dad just came to my door, all “when did you arriveeeee.” “Uh… a while ago.” Then he said he was sleeping. I think that went over pretty well.

I don’t know where I’m going with this. Time to end soon.

I wanna hook uppppppppp. I love hooking up. Maybe tomorrow, if I’m allowed out (probably not). I heard Sucker Punch was a shit movie, my friends were doing shots of tequila to it, and Theo banged his head on the seat in front of him cause it sucked so hard. Senior Prank

So, it was the seniors’ last day today. For the first time ever, our school had a senior prank. I mean, sure, we had traditions, and the previous seniors had ideas, but no one ever did anything.So since five in the morning, the seniors were wrapping string everywhere in the high school building. It was pretty hard to navigate through it all, but it was cool.

Three incidents with the string stood out - Pavle (senior) stepped on some string that was attached to a locker, which brought it down to the ground. Mrs. Jennings (teacher) stepped on some attached to those water dispenser things, bringing that to the ground and breaking it, and Sophie (junior) opened our homeroom door, that was attathed to the garbage, and sent everything flying out. Fun stuff, and they didn’t even do those parts on purpose.

I don’t know if I ever mentioned this, but we have a bridge to get to the middle school building and arts department building. The bridge goes over the nastiest river - sewer water man. It’s all nasty, green, smells disgusting, looks gross. It’s sort of a tradition that the guys jump in there. I believe seven did this year, I only witnessed four of them. One of the guys that I watched jump hadn’t thought about what he was wearing too well. He stripped down to his boxers. White boxers. And you know what happens when white material gets wet? Yeah. So when he swam out of the nasty river-lake thing, he had to yell at everyone to get him his shirt so that he could cover his crotch.

Nice ass crack, kid.
